The base of any high-quality cue is the wood dried naturally for 10 to 20 years. Thanks to this base all our cues are straight, dynamic and having a low deflection. Bobek cues have lifetime warranty for straightness.
I spent most of my life amongst high-level billiard players. For a while I was also an active player in a top Czech league myself. Playing billiard on such a level brings the need of own top-class equipment.
During this long period, I have been looking for the best materials, I have been developing the technology and have achieved very good results. Combining the quality wood and perfect joining technology, my cues meet the highest players’ requirements. They are a perfect mixture of technical attributes, thanks to which the cues are dynamic, compactness, and appearance. And to point it out it is mainly dynamics of a shot which is alpha and omega of a good game.
For the production of billiard tables I use the oak wood that ensures the quality and firmness. Cushions are another important element bringing the quality and joy to the game on top sport level. I use either Artemis or Bufallo rubber cushions mounted exactly according to the manufacturer's specifications.
My tips are made of African Buffalo skin, which is one of the strongest and toughest in the world. It has qualities, that others like pig skins or cowhides are missing.
I am sure that I am the only producer in the Czech republic manufacturing all the three billiard product types: Billiard tables, cues as well as cue tips.
